Small CfD Round 3 budget is risky, but belies a steady ambition
The Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) announced on Tuesday (November 20) that it aims to set aside a budget of GBP 60m for the UK’s next contracts-for-difference (CfD) auction in May 2019, and promptly drew fire from all sides for what looked, at first glance, a paltry sum.
