Latest delay to RESS 2 leaves Irish market in a spin
The Irish government announced on June 22 that it would go back to the market for a consultation on plans for the highly anticipated second round of its Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (RESS) auction.
The Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications (DECC) stated it wished to collect feedback on the programme so far to help it formulate what the second round would look like, but the added delay this will bring has caused consternation amongst market players.
